My Approach

I’m about capturing your wedding day as it really is—natural, emotional, and completely you. I take a documentary approach, which means I stay in the background, letting your day unfold without interference. No stepping into the spotlight—just moments caught.

Your wedding is deeply personal, and I truly respect that. I won’t be front and center during your ceremony or intimate moments. Instead, I’ll quietly observe from the edges, capturing the real stuff—the quiet glances, the big laughs, the happy tears—without interrupting the flow of your day.

I’m not into awkward poses or staged smiles. What I love most are the candid moments that tell the real story of your celebration. When it’s time for couple portraits, I’ll keep it relaxed and easy. You won’t be whisked away for hours—I’ll work around your day, not the other way around. My aim is to create timeless photos that feel like you and bring all those emotions flooding back every time you look at them.

FAQs

Q. Can you pencil us in / hold our date?

A. Unfortunately not. Your wedding date is only secure once you've paid the deposit and returned the booking form. Weddings are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.

Q. How much is the deposit?

A. £350 - This is a non-refundable deposit and is deducted from your final balance.

Q. Can we meet up before we book you?

A. Yes no problem. Happy to discuss whether face to face or over Zoom.

Q. What time do you leave on the wedding day?

A. Normally until the first dance, after which I will try and get some of the guests dancing shortly after. If you would like me to stay longer, I’m happy to discuss and tailer my service.

Q. How long do we have to wait for the photos?

A. It normally takes between 4 and 6 weeks to finish the images and get them sent to you.

Q. How far will you travel?

A. I’m happy to travel anywhere. Depending on the location, there may be extra mileage charges.

Q. Can you make an album for us?

A. Yes I can do. My albums start from £500. Again happy to discuss.

Q. Do we have to feed you?

A. Entirely up to you! I wouldn’t say no :) However no issues if not, I can bring a packed lunch

Q. We want lots of group photos, can you do that?

A. I don't mind doing a couple of close family group shots, and of course ones of you with the bridesmaids or best man/ushers, but if you're after a photographer that is going to work off a long list of group photos, then I'm definitely not the photographer for you.

Q. How do we pay the final balance?

A. The balance needs to be paid at least 4 weeks before the wedding date, and is a bank transfer to my account.

Q. Are you insured?

A. Yes. For both public liability and professional indemnity.

Q. Can we really do whatever we want with the images?

A. Yes. You've paid me to be your photographer, you've got the photos, so feel free to print them off, share them with family and friends, upload them to Facebook, or even make your own album.
